Since 1949, June 1 has been celebrated around the world as International Children's Day. In Russia, although it is not a public holiday, it is still traditionally observed as Children’s Day. On June 2, students from the Faculty of History and Law and the Faculty of Technologies, Economy and Design held a debate on the topic "Juvenile Justice: Pros and Cons!" in the Building 2 of Amur State University of Humanities and Pedagogy. The discussion was organized and moderated by Konstantin Nikolaevich Tendit, Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Technologies, Economy and Design and Associate Professor at the Department of History and Law. During the event, students discussed and debated key issues, including the nature of juvenile law, the concept of childhood as a social institution, and ethical challenges of juvenile justice.
